Sunburn?

After exposure to bright sunlight for an extended period of time, sunburn often results.  Sunburn is caused by the effects of ultraviolet light, and is most likely to affect individuals with pale complexions and/or individuals who are not used to being in the sun.

  • ALOE VERA is a wonderful natural treatment for sunburn! It can be applied to burned areas to soothe and to heal.

  • A few drops of LAVENDER and CHAMOMILE oils can be added to a tub of LIVE YOGURT.  After combined, this combination can be applied to affected areas to sooth, encourage healing, and reduce inflammation.

  • Some VITAMIN E oil can be used to naturally treat sunburn as well! Rub a small amount into the affected area, shortly after the occurrence of the burning, to prevent peeling and scarring.
